Its current format will be extended to include an interactive construction play area spanning as much as 1,100 sqm of attractions for children. The venue is scheduled for opening on 1 June.

Klockownia offers a new, enhanced format which, in addition to standard zones such as Majster, Demolka or Hocki Klocki, will also provide brand new space for children to play builder, plumber, painter, interior designer and electrician. Blocks will remain the main tool to play with, but the centre will also feature a carpentry room with DIY workshops, a zone with heavy construction machines and the only thematic play structure of its kind in Poland with an out-of-the-box design.

Ever since its inception, Klockownia, which is a member of the Association of Science Centres, has stood out for its modern, welcoming space, as well as its first-class workshop and educational offer for schools and kindergartens, developed by its Scientific Board. It offers training in soft skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving in settings that are captivating for children, e.g. building replicas of world-famous structures together, playing airport and designing labyrinths.

Klockownia’s staff includes pedagogy students and graduates, so the centre’s offer is highly valued by teachers and parents alike, and the time spent with a child in this space is always a time spent on meaningful and educational fun.

“The lease for space in Pasaż Górczewska marks a milestone in the growth of our network – it is our first Klockownia with an area of more than 1,000 sqm. Our centre is in a prime well-connected location that is easily accessible by metro, bus, tram, and car from the city’s ring road. By offering stairless, barrier- and step-free access, Klockownia is also suitable for children with special needs, so a convenient car park with single-level access to the premises was an important factor in our choice of location. In addition, we have a large parking area for coaches bringing pupils from schools and kindergartens from the whole province. It will be the largest and, I hope, the most interesting edutainment centre in western Warsaw. It will certainly inspire children to engage in active and meaningful offline fun,” says Małgorzata Wieczerzak, the initiator and CEO of Klockownia.

Pasaż Górczewska will be Klockownia’s fourth location in Poland and second in Warsaw, with more openings planned for Wrocław, Szczecin and Poznań.

“We are pleased that the Shopping Centre in Górczewska Street is adding a new brand targeting the youngest to its portfolio in order to address the needs of customers looking for new opportunities to actively spend time with their children. This absolutely unique venue will be an additional advantage of the centre in attracting both returning and new customers,” comments Renata Weikert, Senior Consultant, Retail  Agency, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland is responsible for retail space leasing, property management and marketing services for the Shopping Centre in Górczewska Street.
